Before any treatment a thorough consultation must be undertaken to make sure your treatment is safe and tailored to your specific needs.
What to expect:
- Careful assessment of your lesion to confirm what it is and make sure it is suitable for treatment. I often use a dermatoscope to view the lesion in detail.
- I will explain the treatment, what it feels like and also what to expect during the healing process and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
- I will review your questionnaire and clarify any medical details.
- Pre-treatment photographs will be taken for my records.
After the consultation and pre-assessment a treatment plan will be devised including taking into consideration the timing of your treatment; considering any special events or holidays and making sure we allow for adequate healing time.
